Terms of Service.

By signing into Taprolab you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Taprolab is operated by Taprona; references to "we", "us", or "the platform" mean Taprolab.

Taprolab is a closed platform that delivers paid lecture videos and downloadable resources to students who have been enrolled by their tutor or by a platform admin. Access is granted by email address and activated when you sign in with the matching Google account.

Students can view videos and download resources for the courses they are enrolled in. They may not re-share content outside the platform. Tutors may create and manage their own courses, upload videos and resources, and enrol students by email. Admins oversee the platform, invite tutors, and manage user roles.

Sign-in is via Google OAuth only. You agree to use a Google account whose email matches the address your tutor or admin used to enrol you; not share your account, sign-in session, or any token-protected video URL; and keep your Google account secure.

You agree not to re-share, re-host, screen-record, or otherwise distribute lecture videos or resources outside the platform; attempt to circumvent the access controls; scrape the platform or automate bulk downloads; or use the service for any purpose that is illegal.

Tutors retain copyright in the videos and resources they upload. By using Taprolab to deliver that content, tutors grant Taprolab a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, transcode, and serve the content to enrolled students. Taprolab does not claim ownership of tutor content.

Paid courses are billed in LKR through PayHere, our card payment partner. Taprona (Pvt) Ltd is the merchant of record for these transactions; PayHere handles card processing and is the entity that appears on your card statement. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and other cards supported by PayHere. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

We aim for high uptime but do not promise an uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, vendor outages, or security incidents may temporarily limit access. There is no service-level agreement in this version.

Taprolab is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Lecture content is the responsibility of the tutor who uploaded it; Taprolab does not endorse or verify educational accuracy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taprolab and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if a tutor or admin removes you from your courses. You may stop using the service at any time; email legal@taprolab.lk if you would like your account and data deleted.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
