What it costs, and what moves it.
Three parts.
Build is one-time. The platform is monthly. The retainer is optional — plenty of clients build once and simply keep the platform running, though processes change, and the most common reason training stops working is that nobody updated it.
Build
One-time
We design the curriculum, script it, film on your sites, and produce the finished courses. Priced per module — never per minute.
Platform
Monthly
Hosting, learner accounts, progress tracking and reporting. Priced in bands by number of learners, never per head — so adding people never increases your bill mid-band.
Maintain
Monthly · optional
New modules each quarter, updates when your processes change, reporting and admin support. Cancel any time; your academy keeps running on the platform fee alone.
What one module means, precisely.
We price per module, not per minute. Paying by the minute encourages long, padded videos, and long videos are the ones nobody finishes.
- One topic. Four to six minutes of finished video — up to eight for a complex, step-by-step procedure.
- Scripting and instructional design, filming at your site, editing, on-screen graphics, a knowledge check, and a one-page job aid your team can print and keep.
- Two rounds of revisions are included. Further rounds are quoted separately.
- If a topic genuinely needs more than eight minutes, we split it into two modules and tell you before we start — never after.
Prices.
Starter
Five modules, produced in English. Everything a new starter needs in their first week: how you work, your core process done properly, dealing with customers, safety, and your systems.
Then LKR 35,000 a month to host it, track completion, and give you the reports.
Sinhala and Tamil are quoted on top — each language is filmed and voiced properly, not machine-subtitled.
This is an onboarding pack, not a full academy. If you need several departments, more languages, or content that keeps growing, a full programme is the honest answer.
Full programmes
Typically eight to twelve modules across two or three languages, covering multiple departments, with a monthly retainer that keeps it all current.
Because a four-module single-site programme and a twenty-module trilingual rollout across forty outlets are not the same job, we quote these after a short scoping call rather than publishing a rate card. Pretending they were the same would mean overcharging one of you.
Prices in LKR, exclusive of taxes. International clients quoted in USD.
What changes the price.
Three things, in the order they matter. Worth reading before the call — it is the difference between a two-week quote and a two-month one.
- How many modules you need
- The biggest lever, and the one you control most. Most onboarding programmes run eight to twelve.
- How many languages
- English, Sinhala and Tamil are each produced properly — filmed and voiced, not machine-subtitled. That is real production work per language, and it is priced as such.
- How many filming days
- Which depends on how spread out your locations are. Travel and time on the road sit here.
What does not change it: how many learners you add within a band, and how often you ask for reporting.
What's always included.
In every programme, at every size. These are not upsells and they don't appear as line items.
- Your own academy, with your company's name on it.
- Sinhala, Tamil and English, produced properly — filmed and voiced, never machine-subtitled.
- Works on any phone, on mobile data. Your frontline team don't have company laptops.
- Hosting, learner accounts, admin training, and reporting.
- You own everything we produce for you — the videos, the scripts and the source files, and your learner records. Outright.
- A Colombo-based team on local hours.
Questions people ask.
The seven that come up on almost every call, answered before the call so the call can be about your business.
- Why isn't there a full price list?
- Because the honest answer depends on your size. A four-module programme for one office and a twenty-module trilingual rollout across forty outlets are completely different jobs, and publishing one price for both would mean overcharging somebody. Twenty minutes on a call and we can give you a real number.
- Who owns the videos?
- You do. Outright, including the source files. If you ever leave, you take everything with you — content and learner records.
- Can we cancel the monthly retainer?
- Yes, any time. Your academy keeps running on the platform fee alone. It just stops getting new content.
- What if our process changes after launch?
- That's what the retainer is for. If you're not on one, we'll quote the update as a one-off.
- Can our own trainers add content?
- Yes. We'll train your admins during setup.
- Can it connect to our HR system?
- Usually. Tell us what you use and we'll tell you honestly whether it's straightforward. A staff-list import works with anything; a live integration depends on what your vendor exposes.
- How do you invoice?
- Build is invoiced against milestones; the platform and retainer monthly. 30-day credit period as standard.
